Kicking off new projects in Sri Lanka!

In January , Dr. Joacim Rocklöv, Dr. Marina Treskova, Dr. Prasad Liyanage, and Ms. Senani Dayabandara visited Sri Lanka, kicking off new projects on Leptospirosis and Dengue. The projects are done in collaboration with local communities, veterinary experts, entomologists, and the Ministry of Health in Sri Lanka. During the research visit, the team also attended the inauguration ceremony of the SHRI (Sri Lankan Health Research and Innovation), focusing on planetary health, and met with the Mathematics department and the National Science Foundation in Sri Lanka.
