We attended EGU 2025, the largest conference for geoscientists in Europe!

The EGU General Assembly 2025 welcomed 20,984 registered attendees in Vienna.
The Hei-Planet Hub attended the the European Geosciences Union (EGU) conference, which took place from 27 April to 2 May 2025.

The EGU General Assembly is an annual meeting that brings together geoscientists from all over the world to cover all disciplines of the Earth, planetary and space sciences and whose vision is to “realise a sustainable and just future for humanity and for the planet”

During the conference, Stella Dafka, a Hei-Planet postdoctoral researcher, gave a presentation on the potential utility of Indian Ocean sea surface temperature for predicting dengue outbreaks in South and Central Asia.
