One Health: The Need for Interdisciplinary Research and Action (World Health Summit)

Prof. Dr. Joacim Rocklöv will be speaking at the upcoming World Health Summit in Berlin as part of the panel discussion titled “One Health: The Need for Interdisciplinary Research and Action – Experiences from Ongoing Research Projects in Nigeria, The Gambia, and Thailand.”

The session will bring together researchers and public health experts to explore how the One Health approach—integrating human, animal, and environmental health—can drive more effective global health strategies. Drawing on practical insights from projects in Nigeria, the Gambia and Thailand, the panel aims to highlight the value of interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing emerging health challenges.

Dr. Rocklöv will specifically present insights from the PANDA project.
