The Hei-Planet Hub attended the MOOD project’s final conference on 26 and 27 November 2024.

The MOOD project aims to develop innovative tools and services for the early detection, assessment, and monitoring of current and future infectious disease threats across Europe in the context of continuous global, environmental, and climatic change.

During the conference, Joacim Rocklöv, Hei-Planet Hub Director and CSIDlad group leader gave a plenary talk on climate and vector-borne diseases in Europe.

Marina Treskova, Eco-epidemiology group leader presented the Lily project poster.

In January 2025, Prof. Dr. Joacim Rocklöv and Dr. Marina Treskova visited the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) in Cape Town, South Africa, and shared their expertise with students on the role of AI in public health and the application of data-driven approaches to real-world problems.
